Soupe de Jour - Rhône-Alpes

Soupe de Jour is Penny’s blog about her life in Annecy with her husband, two children and a rather old cat.

To call the blog wide ranging is a bit like saying that “Johnny Hallyday can sing a bit!”

Soupe de Jour ranges from articles about A Few of my Favourite Vampire Things to The Purse Snatcher.

Most of the posts, however, are more down to earth and detail the day to day events that Penny wants to talk about.

There is, for example, a very interesting post about La Fête de Caïon which contains the classic sentence… “A birdseye view of the blood sausage makers from our bedroom window.” As one of the comments suggests… Only in France!

There are a fair number of posts about reading which is nice to see (especially as some of them are about reading for children) and, obviously (as that’s where she lives), a few posts about Annecy (take a look at the photos – they’re great.)

And then, of course, there are posts like…. Check out these undies! and You know you’re in trouble when….

And, of the last two posts I shall say no more other than to remind the author that… this is a family blog and it has poor impressionable immature readers (such as me!) and to take it easy, from now on,  with the Lingerie posts.

But, then again, perhaps I’m just jealous as I never seem to get invited to those sorts of Vente Privée!

By the way, I’ve done a check and…. there are at least 55 food related posts on this blog; thus, it is safe to enter without any fear of going hungry.

So, why not put your bib on and tuck in to Soupe de Jour.
