Postcards from my blue house - Rhône-Alpes

Still in Lyon, I decided to pop in and have a look at Postcards from my blue house.

Now, this is rather a strange blog.

Not strange in terms of searching for A Little Sax in Paris (see this post…. Paris through my lens) or strange for talking about mice condoms (that subject is aptly covered by An American Mom in Paris) – no, this blog is just a little bit strange in its layout.

Or, perhaps,   unique would be a better word?

Once you get your head round it, it works very well.

Now, postcards from my blue house is pretty much an out and out photo blog.

So, it’s only right that the photos tell the story.

Why not start off with a wander around the Christmas Market and say hello to the Tartiflette man.

Then, maybe, a walk into Old Lyon?

Surely it’s worth taking a detour to see the trompe l’oeil here and here?

Hang on, there’s another one here!

And yet another one here!  What is it with this town?

And then, perhaps check out a little devil doing some renovation?

But what’s this?  Another trompe l’oeil!

I like the Random shots taken whilst running errands.  In fact, I like most of the posts on this blog.

It’s something that worth sitting down and working through.

Two blogs about Lyon in two days.  Both completely different but, in a way complementary.
