Sara in Le Petit Village - Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
Sara in Le Petit Village is the blog of Sara Louise who fell in love and followed the Boyfriend back to his little village in Provence to live happily ever after.
Just one little problem… she couldn’t speak French.
Oh well, c’est la vie!
In this blog she mingles with the locals, explores the domestic arts and maybe learns a little French.
Although the blog has only been going for a few months, it is packed full of interesting (and occasionally worrying) posts such as…. The End of the World, Holy Goat! and the wonderful… The Mushroom Incident!
If you only read one Life in France blog post ever again, for the rest of your life, make sure it is that last one!
Every now and again, Sara Louise has a Little Rant but these seems to be balanced out by the equally frequent My Little Rave!
As the blog progress, I get the feeling that Sara Louise is picking up some French. Just look at Mon Pannier Rouge. Having said that I imagine that there’s still some way to go.
There’s a lovely post about Multiplication, The Serial Killer, and some Champagne and Thierry Henry is a Cheater Weater is a post of such stunning and concise sports journalism, I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get put up for an award.
Strange to think that it was written by a girlie, and an American one , at that!
Could Sara Louise be the only girl in the world (American or otherwise), who actually understands the offside rule?
I could go on and on, this is that sort of blog. But that would only ruin your enjoyment. So, dash down to Sara in Le Petit Village and pay her a quick visit and, if you do happen to bump into Sara, ask her for a little glass of Mrs. Honey’s homemade alcohol – she’ll know what you mean!
All the best

I agree — a very promising blog. She has certainly been prolific so far;loved the mushroom post.
