Poum! is screamish’s blog about, amongst many other things, being a stay at home mother of twins in Provence.

You can tell that screamish really Loves Living in France even though she agrees, quite rightly, that Peter Mayle has got a lot to  answer for!

Surprisingly, screamish explains in French cuisine.  Everything you didn’t want to know about it, that she is not so keen on Brain Pie and Veal Glands on Rice.  Strange girl… she’d certainly starve if she ever came round here for tea!

Still, she has some intelligent things to say about the France vs Ireland World Cup Qualifier – even if it is only… Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear… But then again, what else is there to say without mentioning phrases such as Cheating B*stards, Hand of God and Hanging’s too good for him!

On a lighter note, screamish’s explanation of what it is like to be pregnant ….“So the dose of hormones you get when you’re pregnant is normally supposed to make you smiley, radiant, eblouissante, all these things.  Whereas I am insomniac, paranoid and anxious…not to mention a real bitch. I managed to insult two midwives and my gynocologist this week. I mean really insult” makes me glad that I’m a man and will hopefully avoid going through all that.

Screamish kindly shows us where she reads our blogs, lets us know that she’s not so keen on Pig’s Ears either and has a Rant about La Poste.
