A corner of France - Pays de la Loire

pays de la loire A corner of France because we all love reading blogs about life in FranceA  corner of France is the home of the Cogitator’s musings about the day-to-day events in running a group gîte in Mayenne.

The blog displays Cogitator’s seemingly “Love/Hate” relationship to gardening, as can be seen here… I hate the rock fairy and here, where he gives flying lessons to Snails.

There’s also a tall story about the Caterpillar that got away and presumably turned into one of the Drunken Butterflies?  Do caterpillars turn into butterflies?  I’m not actually sure.  I’m not very good at some of this nature stuff, having spent most of my biology lessons at school staring at Mavis Bradshaw’s bottom.  She had a big bottom and she gave personal biology lessons behind the bike sheds, she did!  But….. that’s another story!

There are plenty of other interesting posts, none of which will take you all day to read; all of which will make you glad you did read them.

Anyone who has got A Fire Breathing Dragon (not, it’s not his mother in law!!!) and who can have a rant about Who moved my cheese? must lead an interesting life.

Cogitator’s (I do wonder about that name…) blog is a year old. Or, at least, it was a year old yesterday – so… Happy Birthday, blog – may there be many more of them.  I hope you didn’t get as Drunk as a Skunk!

All in all, a well rounded blog by a guy who runs a group gîte in Mayenne.

And, you know what, I do feel a bit sorry for him!  After all, what sort of parents call their son Cogitator?  What were they thinking of?

Think of all the teasing he must had had to endure at school!  And I bet he didn’t have a Mavis Bradshaw (or her big bottom), to cheer him up!

Why not pop into A corner of France to find out if it’s damaged him for life, or not.

All the best
