petite anglaise - Paris
www.petiteanglaise.com is the blog of Catherine Sanderson who (to use her own words), dreamed about living in Paris from the moment of her very first French lesson , at the age of eleven. She’s thirty-seven now, and Paris has been her home for fourteen years. She set up her blog in July 2004. A year later, she left her partner, Mr Frog, the father of her daughter Tadpole, for a man she met in my comments box, documenting everything here.
In 2006 she got dumped, dooced and outed, but also landed a book deal. In 2007 she won her case for unfair dismissal at a French employment tribunal against her ex-employer.
Her first book, a memoir based on events covered in the blog, was published in several languages in 2008.
All I can say is WOW!
Catherine became internationally famous when she was sacked for mentioning her employers (in Paris) a few times in blog posts. Even now, she has over 2000 fans on her Facebook page.
I’m not going to give all the details away as that would spoil the fun of finding out for yourselves but.. she has just had a baby!
I hope you enjoy looking round www.petiteangliase.com as much as I do – Catherine is a very important person in the blogging world for standing up to her bosses – she deserves our support and thanks and the best way to show that is to visit her blog.
