Whoops!

general Whoops! because we all love reading blogs about life in France

Whoops…

It looks like there was a problem with last Tuesday’s That Was The Week…. post and it seems to have been truncated….

general Whoops! because we all love reading blogs about life in FranceWhich means that some of you may have missed out on all that….

Silly Tuesday madness that….

You rely so much on!

I’ve fixed the post and offer my apologies to anyone who missed out on the missing bits!

I’d like to promise that this sort of thing never happens again but…

We all know that it probably will!

You can read the post in all its wonderful fullness at…

That Was The Week…

That would be ME!! LOVE the comic and I’m finally catching up on blogs so it’s nice to stop by yours and read humourous stuff… It’s been awhile since I’ve been here… It feels good to be back..

    Take care, Leese

Aah, I was wondering who had pressed the Whoops button; please don’t do it again!

Nice to see you back, though.

We’ve been missing you and your pink flip flops!

    All the best

    Keith

P.S. If I were you I’d stand clear or the George Michael, Wild or Mild? argument that seems to be brewing on these pages! UN Security Forces are standing by and things could get rather messy!

‘Whoops’ made me chuckle. Reminds me of the early 90’s ‘Crashed PC’ cartoon classic depicting an insanely enraged Donald Duck stood over his keyboard wielding a huge lump hammer over his head with the caption “Press any key to continue”.

Just fell out of Mme Fly’s Costa Rica/French Leave blogs and landed smack in here. Still a bit confused and dazed by it all, but I’m slowly beginning to pick up the gist of the central theme. (!) No really.

Re your ‘My Day Job’ – interestingly, I only tripped over George East’s book series last week via our new local library. Not sure how he’s stayed under my radar so long. If Ollie Reed had been born of his next generation, he would have immortalised Georges character for all time. Probably taken the part on just for the wine and the calvados too.

    Hi Phil

I think anyone would be confused and dazed having fallen out of Fly in the Web’s sites (she does do a lovely rant though!)

I’ve been speaking to George about doing some optimisation on his existing site – our one business meeting so far was held outside my local bar and washed down with far too much beer!

I wish all business meeting were like that!

He’s a great man – even better in the flesh than he comes over in his books!

    All the best

    Keith

P.S. He gave me one of his famous vests!

P.P.S. I’m not sure whether to wear it, frame it and put it on the wall or just put it in a safe with a view to selling it at Sotherbys in a few years time?
