A Taste of Garlic

An apology – blame it on the weather!

I’d just like to take this opportunity to apologise for the lack of posts yesterday and today.

general An apology blame it on the weather! because we all love reading blogs about life in FranceSomething really rather strange has happened and it’s affected my ability to research and comment on Life in France blogs.

It’s not a bad thing that has happened (unless, like me, you have just invested in another pair of fleece lined thermal long-johns and a new pair of wellies!)

You see, for the first time in what seems years, it’s stopped raining and the sun has come out in rural Brittany!

This was such a shock to my system that I’ve had to relocate to the garden and start work on building a chicken run.

But, please rest assured; I’m rather proud that over the last four months (since A Taste of Garlic was born), apart from this weekend, I’ve only missed one day’s posting.

I’m sure that it’ll start raining again tomorrow and thus, normal service will be resumed!

I currently have 68 blogs on my ToDo list and am finding more great blogs each day.  If you know of a blog that I might like to look at (even if it’s your own), please don’t be shy, drop me a line and let me know at contact@aTasteOfGarlic.com

P.S.  Anyone want to buy a pair of fleece lined thermal long-johns?  Only lightly used (and I’m sure the stains will wash out!)

All the best

I know that feeling! Have just hit the gardens, saving blogging for the evening! Have you already heard the joke about the two French farmers? (told to me by my French farmer neighbours). One of them is going to town to meet a girlie for the first time! The second one says, ‘Make sure you’re wearing undies.’ The first one says, ‘I don’t have any,’ Number two says, ‘I’ll loan you a pair.’ Number one says,’ How do I know which way they go?’ Number two says, ‘EASY! Yellow to the front, brown to the back!” Lovely!!! Now on that note I’ll be off outside again ;-)
