A Taste of Garlic

So things change – possibly last post? - French Garlic

french garlic So things change possibly last post? because we all love reading blogs about life in FranceSo, after almost 2 years of not updating A Taste of Garlic….

I have finally decided that I can’t find the time to start it up again.

Whilst I’ll miss it…

I’ve made so many, many good friends from reviewing Life in France blogs and websites (and being ever so slightly rude about them)…

That I’ll never regret the time I put into the project.

However, things change and life moves on.

french garlic So things change possibly last post? because we all love reading blogs about life in FranceFor personal reasons I seem to have found myself living all alone, without Mrs A Taste of Garlic, the fifteenyearold (now a hard working seventeenyearold) and an assortment of cats, chickens and guinea pigs…

I have started a new blog which may be found at HuelgoatDiary.com where you can (should you be weird enough to want to do so) follow my new adventures in a different (and we’re certainly different here!) part of beautiful (although ever so slightly backward and medieval) Brittany.

I have plans for a new business and, if you are interested (especially those of you who haven’t yet made the right decision and moved to France in order to enjoy the good life) you’ll see more about that here very soon.

Once again….

I’d like to thank all of you for putting up with me….

For allowing me to review your blogs and websites and….

For saying nice things every Tuesday when I’ve been ever so slightly naughty in reviewing your latest escapades!

All the best

Don’t know what I would do if you had decided to resume blogging here… possibly move back to France? Don’t see many other options! Heading over to check out the new blog – all the best to you!

Sorry to hear the bad news all round, Keith. We’ve all missed you! I hope your new adventures and blog take you to new heights of happiness, and I’m looking forward to hearing more about your future plans.

Hey Keith, I sure have missed your whit and insights. I hope you keep blogging at the new site. Back in the day one of the highlights of my week (yes my life is that boring. I live in Illinois) was seeing the “That was the week” pop up on my reader. You introduced me to a lot of fun people and blogs. Sadly many of stopped but some are still going strong and entertaining me with their stories of France. Thanks for introducing me to all the wonderful people and places. Maybe someday if I do ever move to France we can get together for wine-o-clock.

OH and if anybody is interested Sara over at http://www.sarainlepetitvillage.com/ has started a sorta “That was the week” series of posts.

I’m so sorry to hear it…I used to so enjoy your posts and reviews! And since I moved back to France I kept hoping to see a new “That was the week” pop up in my reader. But yes, things change and life must go on. Looking forward to reading your new blog and I wish you the best!

So glad you posted one last time and gave a link to new blog. Sorry to hear of your recent problems but really hope that everything goes well now.

Sometimes difficult things steer us to new and better paces and I hope that is the case for you.

Coucou our long lost Keith! It is was wonderful to see you pop up in my blog queue, even if it’s only fleeting…
I hope you are well and I wish you a very bon weekend 🙂

Hello Keith, how lovely to see you here again if only briefly, and to link to your new blog.

I was sad to hear about you and Mrs Garlic but life is never a fleuve tranquille and I hope you are doing okay. You are one of my very favourite bloggers – intelligent, witty, irreverent, kind and always interesting – and I’ll be over to your new blog in a jif.

I still get visitors to my blog from here by the way. 🙂

Hi Keith, may I ( as the only male to reply so far !!) concur with all the best wishes of your band of merry “Blogenas” – good luck with the new venture ( Visited La Grotte du Diable myself some years ago, dont remember much, only that it was a slippery climb up the tight rock path )

Yay yay a thousand times yay!
So happy to see your sharpened self back on line. Just made me decide to restart again after a year’s, shall we call it, ” sebatical.”
    Bisous from Bordeaux Keith
