Petit Minou en Bretagne - Brittany

brittany Petit Minou en Bretagne because we all love reading blogs about life in FrancePetit Minou en Bretagne is Petit Minou’s blog  about her life in Brittany with her husband and her two daughters.  Not to mention their two Ouessant sheep, their chickens, geese, ducks and seven cats!

As well as trying out new recipes using freshly grown veggies, trying to keep up with the weeding and the the garden Petit Minou also has two Gites – more details can be seen here at…  www.labassemeslerais.com

OK, so you’ve done the introduction – let’s have some poultry please!

Well, if you insist!

I’d like to introduce you to Bob who is a pure bred Marans cockerel.  And doesn’t he look handsome?

Then there are the four ex-battery hens who certainly look very happy.

And what about Janet, one of the bantams?  She seems to be keen on her Creature Comforts.

Say hello to Jeremy – the gander who is a real softy but doesn’t like strangers.

A bit like me, then?

Old things and places to visit…..

Brittany has a lot of history and is full of interesting places to visit….

Such as the Le Menhir du Champ Dolent.

Or what about this Petite Chapelle Breton?

And how about a day trip to Cancale?  I spent many, many happy holidays there.

And we used to see L’Anse du Guesclin every time we went into St. Malo.  As a kid I always wanted to live on that fort!

There are some lovely photos on this blog.

What do you think of this fox being….. foxy?

Or what about Flora the cat at sunset?

Personally I liked January Sunset and Storm Clouds Gathering.

That’s how I remembered last winter in Brittany!

So, summing up…..

A nice, easy to read blog about life in Brittany.

Give yourself a treat and pay a quick visit to Petit Minou en Bretagne – I think you’ll enjoy yourself.

And me?  Well, just like the Menhir du Champ Dolent, I am getting on a bit so….

I’ll just have to ask you kindly to.. Please Restore Me!

All the best
