MilkJam - Basse-Normadie
MilkJam is the online diary of an American, originally from the Pacific Northwest, who moved to Normandy in 2003 to teach English for a year and every year decided to stay ‘just one more year’!
She met Mystery Guest (boyfriend) in 2005 and is, in her own words, “looking forward to what the future brings!”
Reading MilkJam, I’m sure the future will be full of good stuff!
The posts on this blog range from the ongoing saga of the driving license which starts here (I think), continues through Sneaky Me? (I didn’t really understand that bit!), then on to a written test (which, apparently is, to use MilkJam’s own words… “a B**^($# – if you’ll excuse my French – they don’t tell you how you’re doing as you go! Plus there can be more than one right answer, or just one, and you don’t know… pfff!”), then there’s the failing the written test bit, taking the written test again, passing the written test and then failing the practical test before finally passing!
Phew! Glad that’s over because….
There’s plenty more good stuff in this blog!
Such as this March 2009 post about Spring is Springing! Or this 2007 post about Apple-Goodness.
And there’s always….
Some Weekend Fun (in Brittany, no less! What taste MilkJam has!) and then.. Whew, busy weekend (in Normandy, this time.) Both trips looked like fun but the Brittany one included a picture of some Amanita mushrooms so it gets my vote!
In this charming post we get to see MilkJam’s spots…and dummy!
And this post I can’t even begin to explain! Is it a shirt or is it a thong, or is it a bit of both? I’m really not sure!
And I promise you much more along these lines. Don’t just take my word for it; check out MilkJam for yourself.
Oh, MilkJam also has a cooking blog at Milk Jam in the Kitchen. You ought to take a look at that too!
And me? Well, I’m going to take another look at this video. I really don’t understand what is going on! And I’m not really sure that I want to!
All the best
