La Ferme de Sourrou - Aquitaine
La Ferme de Sourrou is, to use their own catchphrase, about Hardworkinghippy and Fabrice and their off grid, home built house and permaculture smallholding in Bourrou, in the Dordogne region of France.
It is a delightful mixture of eco-friendly living that is also full of the joy of living in France.
Full of advice about keeping chickens, ducks, geese and pigs, they still manage to write posts such as… Romantic Permaculture and our Spring Gardens!
I was intrigued by the post entitled.. Pig Skin Soup with Beans – sounds horrible – doesn’t it? Ummm. no – not to me it doesn’t! It sounds delicious!
There’s loads to dive into on this site. Thoughtful articles as well as beautiful photos (thousands of them!)
The articles about storing food will be of interest to anyone who has caught the River Cottage Bug (a nasty malady, for which there is no cure!)
There are even articles about, God bless them, wild mushrooms!
Now, what more could you want of a blog… Wild Mushrooms and Pig Skin Soup? Sounds heaven to me.
Why not take a look at La Ferme de Sourrou
All the best
