Fairyand and Watercolour Dreams And Dancing in the Twilight Rain – I recently moved to France and married my younger..and way sweeter other half 😉 I love adventure and this one is the biggest in my life. I’m artistic, creative and curious. I love to have fun!
Random thoughts mostly – “Born and raised in Ames, Iowa, I’ve spent the last ten years moving around. I’m addicted to change and have a chronic case of the travel bug. My current plans are taking me to France where I hope to improve my high school French and master the art of French pastry. And it would be really great if I could do this without quadrupling my size.”
Scribblings – “Weekly scribblings about the life of Robyn, Benoit, and Jack in Alsace, France.”
Splish Splash Splat – I am currently living in quaint Shiltigheim, France (just outside of Strasbourg!). I will be here from Sept 2010 until June 2011 teaching English to French high school students. I used to use this blog for school purposes, but now I will be posting pictures and news from Strasbourg for the duration of my stay. I hope you all enjoy!
Stories from Strasbourg – Rebecca’s blog about spending a year work as a trainee at the European Parliament.
The Flashing Blade – “So, phoenix like, The Flashing Blade rises again. I had planned to restart my blog in the New Year but the death of Journalspace means that my idle thoughts about moving my writings to another site were forced to be made reality.Another start another chance at a manifesto. This will be about things that interest me, whether things seen in everyday life, thoughts on politics or other things happening in the World. This is now and every time personal. I do not normally seek to offend anyone gratuitously and if you have views on anything here please feel free to comment. Comments I think are offensive will be removed otherwise I am happy to have a debate with people via this site.”
If you know of any other blogs from English speaking expats living in the Alsace, please let me know and I’ll add them to this page.
And if you decide to visit any of the blogs shown on this page, why not leave a comment and say hello? It can sometimes be a lonely business (or, rather, hobby) being a blogger and an unexpected comment or email can really put a sparkle on the day!
All the best
